As a new driver, I need to obtain some car insurance.  I drive an older vehicle, but I should probably find out What Auto Insurance Is Needed before I make a decision.  I am pretty sure that all I need is liability, as I don’t need collision since my car is 15 years old with high mileage.  I believe liability protects me when someone hits me and vice versa.  I suppose I should also carry uninsured motorist insurance too, so if someone hits me who does not have insurance, my insurance will still cover my costs.  The other people will be out of luck.  It’s too bad that people have to break the laws and drive without insurance.
