I foolishly reversed into a fence a few months ago and managed to break my rear number plate and cracked my bumper.  As you are legally obliged to display number plates which are undamaged and easily read, I had to buy some new ones.  I found a site online which makes replacement number plates and filled out their online form to order some new ones.   The whole process was very easy and I had my new plates within a week.  I had to take my car to the garage for the bumper to be replaced, which of course wasn’t cheap, so now I will be more careful when reversing.
