Xenon Lights.
June 6th, 2009 . by adminXenon refers to the gas that is inside the light bulb. Most filimented bulbs have halogen gas inside them but some have xenon gas. The xenon gas filled bulbs are supposed to produce more lumens than a halogen filled bulb. There are 2 types of Xenon Light Bulbs, there are the kind that are just like stock halogen bulbs with the exception of containg xenon gas, and HID bulbs. The HID bulb has no filiment it contains two probes separated by a bubble of xenon gas in which high voltage produced by a ballast arcs across the xenon gas inside the bulb producing a much brighter light.
