Business process reengineering can mean restructuring

May 31st, 2009 . by admin

Those who do the job of business process reengineering bpr for short, are mostly in agreement that the restructuring should be focused on the processes.  Any organization will be shown to only be as good as the processes it can perform.  The activities involved in the final details are not as vital to the reengineering as the processes themselves.

Many of the processes are involved in other operations and need not be directly addressed at the time of restructuring.  They will be altered as needed in the over all progress of reengineering.

While the activities, tasks, and procedures involved in business processes need to be optimized for correct and efficient flow, the tools used, including charts and mapping need to all work harmoniously in the structure they are designed for.
