Tribal Tattoo Designs: Tracing Back the Beginning

January 19th, 2009 . by admin

Art is considered to be the most efficient medium to preserve the Tribal Tattoo Designs of some specific age. We may have fallen to simple existence that knew nothing about the past beauty. It is the art that tell us the history of our ancestors. The main focus of tattoos is self expression. During the ancient years, illustrating designs to human’s body had more importance than to express what the self says. Somehow tribal tattoos meant a social status, a fate or destiny and a belonging to a group. It is like a life or death or a way of achievement for a person. These tattoos have artistic designs and show a person’s identity, beliefs and passion.

Who said those quotes?

January 18th, 2009 . by admin

I love to hear great quotes that make me laugh, make me cry or inspire me to try something new or look at something in a different way. I remember hearing from a friend some great quotes about the person that is successful in business and was encouraged to implement the reality of what was said into my everyday business life. By living by these inspirations I have become a much more successful business person and entrpreneur and have inspired others to commit themselves to greater things as well. Learn some yourself and you may well be on the path to great things as well.

He came, he saw, he exorcised

January 8th, 2009 . by admin

That’s the motto of the ghost hunter I met the other night. really, that’s his day job and he earns a pretty decent living from it – though I’m still puzzling just how he can do that. I guess people actually pay him to come around an check out and rid them of the haunted things about their houses? Or does he act like one of those on the TV wandering around in the dark exclaiming to everyone that ghosts are afoot and every noise is a haunting of some sorts. I think that’s the most likely option as people are so desperate to be entertained by being scared to death as much as possible.

I Got My First Marilyn Monroe Black And White Poster In College

December 29th, 2008 . by admin

My friends threw me a surprise party for my twenty first birthday in college. I really had no idea it was coming. They reserved the back room of the bar & grille we liked to hang out in on weekends. I figured that I would get a lot of gag gifts. But my friend Bailey got me a framed Marilyn Monroe Black And White Poster, that she autographed for me. Bailey had gone to the last Halloween party as Marilyn and she was a knockout and it led to us becoming a little more than friends after that. Who knew what blonde wig could do for a girl.

Nature Photographer 6

December 10th, 2008 . by admin

My passion for nature photography is what drives me to refine and perfect my skills.  As a nature photographer I strive to capture and present an image that will captivate the attention of someone who is viewing it.  The comments that I receive from those attending some of the art shows I participate in, validates that the work I am doing is right on the mark.  There are so many more photo opportunities for me to pursue in this beautiful world.  It seems that everywhere I go my photographic eye is constantly searching for new subject matter. I only pray that God will allow me to continue this journey for many years to come.

Competitions, Recitals and Auditions

December 2nd, 2008 . by admin

Competitions, auditions or recitals can be extraordinarily beneficial to students – motivating and challenging them to rise to the occasion and grow from their experiences. Some students thrive on these public performances and do their very best performing under pressure. However, for some students, these events hold the potential to negatively affect their self-esteem and good feelings about music and, in some cases, cause them to quit.

In many cases, the teacher can help prevent these traumatic situations if students (and parents) are adequately and properly prepared:

Help students view any public performance as a valuable learning opportunity. Help students do the best they can at THAT moment in time. Help them realize that as they grow as musicians, their performances will also grow. Encourage students to please themselves and not attempt to predict how others will respond. Help ensure a positive performing experience. Promote the joy of performing.

The thumb piano concert.

November 30th, 2008 . by admin

I have always liked living in a college town because of the atmosphere.  You find so many different things going on.  Shows you can go and see.  They were having a culture month at one of the performance halls.  My friend and I decided to head down there and see what was being featured.  No joke the best show I ever saw.  They had these guys performing with nothing but a thumb piano  and it was really good!  It was kind of funny to see them playing at first because they are so small, but the music was really great!  Such an interesting instrument.

Other Uses of the Easel

November 29th, 2008 . by admin

We know an Easel can be used to show off your pictures and art works. However, have you thought an easel can be used to hold other objects? Think about putting a mirror in an easel. This easel will have to be pretty big but you can buy those without too much looking around. So when you guests walk around your house they can see themselves and be amazed you are so creative with your easel! Another great use is to place awards or plaques on your easel. People will appreciate the amount of time you put in displaying your awards on such a nice easel – guaranteed!

Listening To A Blues Guitar Solo

November 22nd, 2008 . by admin

I was out at a night club over the weekend and the band on stage had a guitar player who had a blues guitar solo.  It was really amazing to listen to because this guy really knew how to play blues guitar.  He got some of the most authentic sounds out of his guitar.  When you hear really good music it leaves you feeling inspired and all charged up.  That is how we all felt when we left that night.  I knew I had heard some really terrific blues guitar.  I wanted to run home and pull out my old guitar and start playing again.
