When I was a teenager, my baby sister had a traumatic brain injury. When she first hit the ground, the breath was knocked out of her and we thought she wasn’t breathing. She came too, but it as obvious she was in bad shape. When she got to the hospital, they ran her through the Philips MRI Equipment and the doctors were very concerned with what they saw. The ordered a medical helicopter transport and flew her to a more specialized hospital. When they got there, they determined that the damage wasn’t as extensive as they though, but she still had to keep her in a pediatric ICU for several weeks. Our family really felt that it was a miracle that she recovered so quickly.
