She was determined to get a divorce and I was determined to keep us together for the sake of our twelve-year-old daughter. I spent months desperately trying to figure out how to stop divorce I didn’t want. It’s not easy but it is possible. This book showed me how. It taught me to stay positive no matter what happened and to re-build our relationship around mutual understanding and cooperation. Not only have we put divorce plans on hold but we are now much happier than we ever were before. I’m hoping this will last. If it doesn’t, at least I can say we both tried.
