Beware Cowboys
March 8th, 2009 . by adminThe changes in legislation whereby an Insolvency Voluntary arrangement was introduced as an alternative to the harshness of bankruptcy has helped many thousands of people in financial difficulties.
However, when taking IVA advice, people will be confronted by firms and individuals who are more interested in making as much for themselves than in helping the person in financial difficulties.
Professional advice should only be sought from a fully qualified Insolvency Service Practioner, or a firm who only refer work to a qualified Insolvency Practioner. There are cowboy firms who will extract large amounty of money, before they refer the matter on. They should be avoided.
