Yamaha Motif XS8 synthesizer and New Wave
August 18th, 2009 . by adminWhen it came to the 1980s, there was one popular music form that reigned supreme above all else: New Wave. If there was instrument that was king of new wave and the decade of the 80s it has to be the synthesizer. It dominated the pop and rock charts. It was so popular that we have now come full circle once again, as we can identify those keyboards based popular music in modern pop popular music. But New Wave ultimately died in the early 1990s as all of a sudden there was new kid in town, and it was called Grunge. Don’t call it a comeback, though because New wave is active and well nowadays with rock bands like The Killers who are bringing back the keyboards and people are falling all over themselves to get the latest Yamaha Motif XS8 synthesizer.
